Very friendly staff and great breakfast, but we didn't like the neighborhood...

Very close to underground/ light rail service and only 40 minutes to get into city centre. Great park nearby and bus services also.
Staff at the hotel were friendly and the breakfast selection was great.

The staff were not friendly and attentive. Made you feel like you were bothering them. Did not feel welcome there at all. The one restaurant was small with screaming kids late at night. The other part of the restaurant was smoke-filled. The breakfast was mediocre and they don't refill it. Not to mention rotten fruit green mold on some of the fruit. When I told the woman who didn't speak any English she just looked at me and scoffed and walked away as if I did something wrong by letting her know the fruit was rotten. The restaurant food was pretty decent though. They boast about their good reviews on another site but I'm convinced they buy those reviews. This wasn't a horrible place but it was nothing to write home about.
