The setting was amazing. Travelers should be aware of limited dining options during off season. We were offered to purchase a frozen pizza from the hotel freezer because the
nearby lodge cafe was closed. Bringing food to cook in the communal kitchen is the best option

Very close to everything. Staff was helpful when we got stuck due to weather letting us sit in the common area to sort everything. We were able to get a slightly early check in to drop our bags to hike the hooker valley. From the hotel we where able to walk to the trail head
