Lovely quiet resort nice pool area good restaurant

Good job for all the staff. I am not a fan of dogs lingering around the resort especially in the dining area and barked loudly every now and then. I understand the resort owners owns the dogs. This is a business establishment, not a kennel resort. Would’ve been nice if they were kept distance away from resort guests at all time. I would’ve enjoyed my stay entirely if not for the dogs. Other than that, staff did an awesome job to make my stay comfortable.

Breakfast was great.unfortunately we were not able to make use of the pool. Room was clean.

We booked a triple room. At first, we were shown a room that seemed smaller than the one shown in the photos when we made our reservation. When we explained our concern, the staff kindly showed us another room, which was more spacious. On our first night, there was a very strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. When we asked if anything could be done, the staff responded immediately. We still noticed a slight smell for the next two days, but when we explained the situation to the staff when they came to clean our room on the third day, everything was completely resolved after the cleaning. Other than that, everything was absolutely five-star for us. We were very satisfied with our stay. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. In fact, we found the pasta even better than the pasta at some of the popular Italian restaurants in the busy Alona Beach area. By the end of our stay, we felt that we could have happily eaten all our meals at the hotel. We were especially grateful to Anette at the reception desk. When the island-hopping tour we had booked through a tour company was cancelled, she kindly helped us negotiate with the company. Thanks to her help, the issue was finally resolved. I don’t think we could have sorted it out without her. All of the staff were always kind, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Bohol. We would also be happy to book our tours through the hotel next time.
