Great little locally owned place. The food was good. The pub was great. Friendly locals gathered as well as fellow travelers. Had a great time and really enjoyed staying at the hotel so much, we decided to stay another night.
The staff was also very accommodating where they could be, although we did have a few issues. We had some trouble with no heat in our room the first night. The staff was quick to respond to turn it on that evening; however, it didn't get/stay on, so it never warmed up, and was very cold. Due to the limited staff availability, (not available 24 hours,) we we unable to get heat until the next day. They did attend to it to ensure it worked the next day though. The other issue was not having a way to make outbound local calls. As we were traveling internationally, our phones couldn't be used for calls (due to phone plan,) and we found ourselves scrambling with other guests to order food delivery one night, since we missed the 8pm food cut off. We were able to find someone else also looking to order food, but it was unnecessarily complicated and stressful. I understand, though. They are a small, local place and need to keep costs down where they can.
Overall, we had a wonderful time, the staff was accommodating, and we would definitely stay there again if/when we make it back to Curracloe!

Staff was fabulous. Hotel has a lot of old character. Some areas need a refresh. But that wouldn't prevent me from staying there again.

Everything was excellent except there was a very bad smell at times in our room especially night time..smelt like odour from septic tank which made it hard to sleep. The following two days we stayed in B and B but always went back to the hotel for something to eat as staff,food and drink was excellent.
