Sea Horse Resort

My wife and I had an excellent 2-night stay in unit 3 while visiting San Clemente for our nephew's HS graduation. The unit was perfect for us. Clean, spacious and well appointed. The view and sounds of the surf breaking on the beach was loved. The one and only nuisance was the beach campfire smoke that would blow in with the onshore breeze each night from around 7 to 10:30pm. Since we have some breathing sensitivities, we ended closing up the unit and spent our time off-site during that window. We absolutely would not hesitate to stay there again any time of year but would reach out to staff to check on other room options, at least during the summer.

Staff was very accomidating with early checkin

We recently stayed at Sea Horse Resort and overall had a very pleasant experience. Before our trip, I contacted the hotel to ask about the possibility of an early check-in. To my surprise, they had a room ready when we arrived around 12:30 PM, which was greatly appreciated after our drive. Unfortunately, the room we were initially given had not been cleaned due to a hotel mistake. We were able to leave our luggage and spend some time outside while they took care of it. However, the staff sincerely apologized, and their genuine concern made the situation much easier to accept. It did not negatively affect our overall experience. Although the ocean view was partially blocked by trees, the balcony was spacious, and the room itself was large and comfortable. After housekeeping finished, the room was spotless and felt almost brand new. What stood out the most was the friendliness of the staff. Every request we made was handled quickly and professionally, which made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. Most importantly, thank you for helping create such a positive experience and wonderful memories for our family. Small moments of kindness and great service can make a trip truly special, and your team did exactly that. While the check-in issue was a minor inconvenience, the excellent customer service, cleanliness, and comfortable accommodations more than made up for it. We would happily stay here again and would gladly recommend Sea Horse Resort to others.
