Our stay at the ship inn was lovely. The room was spacious and modern, the bed was really comfortable, the bathroom and walk in shower were delightful. We didn’t have the breakfast as we had other plans with friends. This is a help yourself continental style breakfast, which looked quite basic but perfectly adequate.
The staff onsite were very friendly and accommodating. The only thing we found could be improved is the communication beforehand. I had a query and so messaged via Expedia, I also phoned and left a message on their answerphone with my number for them to contact me back. I also emailed them directly. Unfortunately none of my messages were returned, which I did find disappointing and resulted in me feeling a bit anxious about what we may face when we arrived. As mentioned, everything else was all good and we would stay again
Detailed information about how to get to the car park would also be helpful as it is at the back of the property down a one way street, which we found by accident.

The Ship Inn, is a really lovely place to stay. It is perfectly situated for easy walking access to the sea and the town of Burnham on Crouch. The staff were so friendly and made us feel really at home. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom facilities excellent. We had a wonderful stay
