Clean room, friendly staff. Their office has extra beach supplies which came in handy as well. Close to some family friendly beaches, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Would highly recommend! We have stayed here before and it's our favorite place in Chatham

Beautiful place with a great view and a very peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is old and rustic, but that’s also part of its charm. If you’re looking for an authentic seaside style experience, it’s warm and cozy and fits the vibe perfectly.
However, the beach right in front of the hotel is probably the dirtiest in the area. There were many dead marine animal and seaweeds remains along the shore and which made it unpleasant to walk on or fully enjoy. For nicer beaches, expect about a 20-minute drive.
As for the hotel itself, I still enjoyed my stay overall. That said, the plumbing is very noisy — you can hear every time neighboring rooms use water — and there is almost no sound insulation between rooms.
