The hotel is situated in a good location, located in the popular suburb of Surry Hills, but the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired.
The hotel has two entrances, with the reception bizarrely located on a very small desk at the back of the hotel. The front entrance is right next to two ‘Master’ rooms, one of which we stayed in. This entrance is meant to only be used is sociable hours, but guests were using it all through the night, and it is not a quiet door! These two rooms are at street level, so the door and the passers by combined kept us up through the night.
The pillows on the bed are like pancakes, and the shower gel/shampoo had ridiculously frustrating dispensers and awfully scented peppermint smell.
The hotel runs a G&T night every night from 4-6, and is bigged up by the receptionists, but it is literally just a cart with a few options of tonic, that no one participates in. Seems very gimmicky.
