Very disappointing, especially for a stay that cost $500+. I had high expectations for the glass dome experience, and while staying in a glass dome was definitely unique and enjoyable, the condition of the property did not justify the price. The dome clearly needs better maintenance. The floor was cracked and created a real trip hazard. The gap around the dome and floor was extremely dirty and looked like it had not been properly vacuumed in a long time. The shower area was also dusty. The walkway to the dome is unpaved, so be prepared if you have large or heavy luggage. The concept is great, but the property needs significant improvement in maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep. At this price point, I expected much better. I cannot recommend this stay in its current condition.

What a great place! The dome was much more comfortable than I thought. The bed was so comfortable. Such a cool experience. I definitely would book again and suggest this on your route while in Iceland. I’d suggest stay when not so exhausted from flying in. So you can fully enjoy the night sky. Book & enjoy you won’t be disappointed:-)

We had a great time at this "igloo". Everything that was provided was just what we needed to make this stay special. I am diabetic and insulin dependent so was very happy to find a mini-frig to keep my medication cool and travel freezer packs frozen. Weather was clear and we were able to lay in bed and watch the northern lights and a star filled sky. I want one!

What a great place! The dome was much more comfortable than I thought. The bed was so comfortable. Such a cool experience. I definitely would book again and suggest this on your route while in Iceland. I’d suggest stay when not so exhausted from flying in. So you can fully enjoy the night sky. Book & enjoy you won’t be disappointed:-)
