The location was excellent, for walking, and if walking is too much, the taxi service is excellent. The breakfast here is lovely, definitely would stay here again!

Great location and nice welcome on arrival. Simple and practical, the room we had worked fine although the bed was a little uncomfortable. Small bathroom as you’d expected from a converted residence, but good dining room for breakfast and a microwave to heat up any meals you might bring back to the house after a long day exploring. Owners are not on site so don’t expect hotel concierge service! Everything worked and as a base for travels around Shetland the price is great!

Just above many variables shops mainly independent. Did not drive but parking looked adequate.

Great stay at Varis House! Friendly staff, clean room with comfortable bed and a good breakfast to get going in the morning.
