Charming bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Close to North Berwick and Edinburgh. Excellent food and service.

Ideal for the golf club. High standard of furnishings. Super large comfortable bed and great coffee machine. Breakfast and the staff were also amazing.
Room was super hot and the parking was terrible. Barely any spaces at the back so we needed to park way up the Main Street and lug our luggage all the way down the street.

The young man who came from the bar to check us in was fantastic. The receptionist wasn't there.
The decor of the rooms and hotel in general is great. Artwork is lovely. Cleanliness is clear. And the outside aesthetic is lovely.
Breakfast, when it came, was lovely.
Appreciated the home made shortbread and coffee in the rooms.

Honestly, for the 2nd time now...breakfast doesn't meet standards. The staffing is inadequate and there doesn't seem to be much staff training. I get that the hotel is busy (I'm pleased for it) ...but for goodness sake, get a pot of tea/coffee down on the table as a gesture and explain that you're busy. We sat at an empty table for 25 minutes with no acknowledgement before I had to get up and ask to be served. It would also be nice to have a bowl of fruit salad next to the bread table -- at least then if you're busy, people can eat something healthy.
