The staff who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The property is very peaceful and quiet and in a nice location. A/C in the dorm room and privacy curtains are great.
There is very weird correspondence that comes through after booking here. It is incredibly threatening about how if you don't clean you'll have huge fines. I wrote back to clarify what cleaning would be necessary in a shared room and if the cleanliness of my room would depend on whether the previous person had cleaned properly. The reply was "yes" it does depend if the previous guest cleaned whether or not your room is clean. Now that is WILD. Especially in a dorm room. Turns out, none of this was even relevant to dorm rooms at all. Maybe put that in the threatening email? Even when I clarified it was not said that this was the case. Either way, the room really was not clean. And I had to make my own bed.
