Wonderful cottage. Probably the best I have had the pleasure of visiting. Beautiful location, exceptional furnishings and very comfortable. The grounds were wonderful to explore- wildcats, gym, games room (football, pool, badminton, padel, basketball etc), archery, observation tower(owls,osprey), wild swimming, rowing boat and fishing, paddle boards, miles of walking, nature hide to bird watch. Bikes to ride around the estate and very, very peaceful. Plenty of places to visit and enjoy.

Balnagown estate is just simply perfect. The Swiss chalet was clean, well equipped and in a beautiful location atop the hill. The grounds including the lochs are just wonderfully kept. The property was quiet and peaceful. My favorite area was the walled garden. I could sit there amongst the apples and butterflies all day. The staff are just lovely. They’re professional and so very nice. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and knew I could reach out to the staff if I needed anything which felt very reassuring. Check in and check out was a breeze. I could go on and on with all my compliments but simply put, I highly recommend this property and I look forward to returning to a place I consider a second home.
