Het zeer fraaie huis waarin wij verbleven en het fantastische Estate met haar natuur.
De woning was goed en fraai ingericht.
Het ontvangst en hulpvaardigheid was prima.
Niets, het bed was alleen wel smal, maar gelukkig waren er 2 slaapkamers.

Wir bewohnten das Cartshed in den ehemaligen Wirtschaftsgebäuden und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Haus war perfekt ausgestattet. Zur Begrüßung stand dort ein großer Korb mit Naschereien und eine Flasche Wein. Pantoffeln und Bademäntel im Zimmer. Die Einrichtung wunderschön im Landhausstil. Die Lage wundervoll! Kleiner Garten mit Terrasse. Direkt gegenüber unseres Hauses ein Schuppen mit einer großen Auswahl an Fahrrädern, um das unglaublich große Areal zu erkunden. Im ehemaligen Stall (?) ein Badmintonfeld, Tischtennisplatte, Kicker etc.. In einem anderen Gebäude ein Fitnessraum. Am See ein Unterstand mit einer vollausgestatteten Picknickküche, Angeln, Sitzmöglichkeiten. Riesen Tonne mit Futter für Enten und Schwäne. Am Badesee eine Ruheoase mit Sesseln, Hollywoodschaukel. Stand up paddle Boards. Ein Denkmalgeschützter Walledgarden, in dem man sich bedienen konnte. Äpfel, Gemüse, Kräuter. Überall stand "help yourself" oder "pick me". Bogenschießen, Angeln - alles vorhanden!

We had a fantastic 4 nights stay at The Farmhouse on the Balnagown Estate. The photos and website don’t do it justice. It really was full of surprises. It exceeded all our expectations. The staff are very friendly especially Tony who pointed out many things to do and see during our stay.
We were blessed with the weather and took full advantage of all the excellent facilities on the estate. Highlights were the large selection of bikes provided both for adults and kids of all ages, padel boarding, swimming in the lochs and the absolutely stunning Castle and walled gardens.
The gym hall had everything you’d need if the weather isn’t great. Table tennis, table football and badminton etc There is also a well equipped gym too.
The grounds and gardens are extremely well maintained. There are so many areas to explore with lots of surprising special touches.
The 5 bedroom farmhouse was huge, plenty room for 10 adults and 2 dogs. Immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you’d need including 2 toasters and 2 kettles in the kitchen. Every bedroom had an en-suite. There was also plenty of books, board games and puzzles etc if the weather isn’t great.
Outdoor was just as impressive, large patio with table and chairs, bbq and fire pit. All wood and charcoal provided.
I really couldn’t fault our stay. The many special touches and attention to detail really made our stay special.

Absolutely perfect stay 👌
The house was beautiful, warm and homely! It had everything we could need and more!
The grounds were absolutely stunning and all the included activities were lots of fun for all the family
We spent every day cycling through the grounds and exploring all that balnagown had to offer... and we could have spent many more days as there is just so much to see 😍
