Pigeon Forge River Cabin, unit 800 “River Cottage”, is located in the historic Old Mill District and is perfect property for the couple or small family looking to escape to the Mountains. This beautiful property sits on the shore of the Little Pigeon River next door to the Historic Old Mill District in downtown Pigeon Forge, and is less than three miles from Dollywood. You can easily walk from the cabin to all of the shopping, dining, and activities that the Old Mill District offers, or you can leave your car parked and walk to Pigeon Forge’s new trolley station where you can catch a trolley to anywhere in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or Sevierville, including Dollywood. This amazing cottage sleeps 4 with a queen size bed and a sleeper sofa, a year-round electric fireplace, coffee station offering a standard coffee maker and a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and has a small game room with a cocktail style Pacman game. At night you can enjoy the lit picnic area that has picnic table and an outdoor kitchen overlooking the river, or you can kick back and build a fire in the outdoor fire pit that also overlooks the Little Pigeon River. If you are looking to get away and be able to relax, yet still be close to everything, look no further because River Cottage is the cabin for you. 2 Car Parking. WiFi included. We enjoyed our stay and it was a great location for all things we like to do:Old Mill, River walk and the Island. The Host was friendly and generous! The cabin was clean with cool AC and an electric fireplace for the surprisingly cool few mornings we had. The cabin was accommodating for our needs. It felt secluded even in town with all the trees, and a lovely place to sit on the porch and read!

This was the cutest little house. We loved it! It was very clean, it was the perfect size for a few nights away. The grill was a nice thing to have so you don’t have to wait inline at a restaurant. And the river right beside the property was a nice touch. Walking distance to the old mill restaurant and several other things. Only con I saw was that the Speedzone Fun Park was across the river. However when inside the house you couldn’t hear it. And the Park closes at 10 so it doesn’t bother you while sleeping. Plus we weren’t there long must of the time we were out doing stuff. Only grilled one night. It really was the perfect place for us.

Location was as good as it gets. This place was perfect for me and my wife. You can’t beat being on the river and in town by the Old Mill District.

This little house was convenient to walk to the Old Mill area. The ac worked great. If you want to be in town close to everything it’s perfect. The parking isn’t great unless you have a small vehicle. The toilet must’ve been in a child’s bathroom so if you have hip back or knee problems be aware it’s really short. The bed was ok but needs upgrading. For a 4 night stay they left 2 bath rags that were rough enough to wash dishes and btw no dish rag. The curtains fell off the front door as soon as we shut it. The lid on the coffee pot was broke. There’s not even any basic salt and pepper or coffee filters so bring your own everything. There’s not much room in either of the 2 closets to hang your clothes because it’s full of stuff. From mid morning until around 10 pm you can hear the go carts. Also this is the only place we have ever rented from that wants a copy of your card. We were not happy about that!!! And if you have much garbage you have to drive over to the rental office to use their dumpster which we didn’t need to do. All the other reviews were good and that’s why we chose to stay here. We wouldn’t do it again.
