For those interested in exploring the Nojiri-Ko area, this house is wonderful. The beds were the most comfortable of any on our 3-week trip, and it is a very comfortable, clean, bright house to spend time in with family/companions. The kitchen is equipped with all you need for some light cooking, the couches are super comfortable. The shower/bath is a fantastic design for accommodating both showers and Japanese style bathing. It was just a 2-3 minute walk down to the lake, and about a 10 minute walk to Shinanomachi with cafes, restaurants, etc. Easy access for those who want to run/walk around the lake. Also, since it rained a lot when we were there (in September), the 'dry room' was incredible--I'm sure it would be great in winter also. We really loved our stay here.
We were able to rent a car in Iiyama and drive here--parking is free and easy. It probably wouldn't have been very convenient to take a train -- no near by train station for those that don't want to rent a car or have access to a car.

住在野尻湖畔的國際村別墅,避暑渡假放空清淨是個好地方,別墅內的用品一應俱全。
特別提醒,夏季確實蚊蟲較多,畢竟是住在森林裡。

Everything was perfect. So much space for a family of 4. High level of attention to detail, so comfortable at every level.
Amazing location for snowsports. Literally at least 7 resorts within 40 minutes, including Nozawa.
