The location was right across from the beach and the hotel had a great outside seating area, a sauna and cold bath and laundry facilities. The area was quaint, kind of like a little beach town vibe. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would stay here again and rent a boogie board or surfboard from next store. The restaurant choices within walking distance are the hotel, a woodfire pizza place (which is excellent but packed all the time and not cheap) and not too much else so keep that in mind.
