Hostal Flamingo by Nest

Great location, basic but pleasant room, authentic feel. Fairly clean, we only needed to use the room to sleep in so was ideal

Pool could have been a bit more inviting, did not look the cleanest.

Charming old building and lovely big outdoor facilities (pool, bar etc) that I liked very much. Also Î liked the 2 wonderful cats. And the balcony. - The staff treated me well the first night. - Helped me with my luggage (no elevator) and listened to my complaints (had reservation for women’s bunker bed 3 nights but got mixed bunker bed and upper bunk without ladder. 70 years old so that was a challenge). They solved this for me and I got lower bunk bed (only women) the day after. And the first night I even slept alone in a lovely double room. without extra charge.

Mixed feel (first time Bunker Bed experience). One incident was hard 😩I will try to explain: The last night of my stay I was already in bed reading a book around 10pm. Then a new guest came in the Bunker bed room. She said Hola and I answered back Hola. Then she asked if I was Francesca ? . I said no. She said nice to meet. And then a little later that night I decided to get my luggage ready as I was leaving early and didn’t want to disturb the others sleep. Then she said to me: Can I ask you a question: Where do you keep your money!! ? Isuðpose she was a bit concerned when she discovered that the personal lockers in the bunker bedroom cannot be locked and felt unsafe. I didn’t want to tell her where I keep my money 😂 but told her to ask the hotel staff what to do if she felt unsafe. After this conversation I myself suddenly felt unsafe. This guest slept above me in the upper ladder and also there were I think 2 more guests and all night I was imagining myself that they wanted to rob me as Im 70years and travelling alone 😂😂😂😂. But nothing bad happened except I lost my sunglasses that same day at this hotel.

How helpful and nice the staff in here absolute legends!!
