Lovely old property with plenty of character.
Nice bar with lots of different areas to choose to sit. Great if in a group of people wanting to chat.
Accommodation rooms were very nice. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable

The staff were absolutely amazing with us after we had had our flight cancelled. Assisted with taking our luggage to our room and with getting to the train station the next day. The room was lovely and comfortable, also very spacious and clean

Absolutely beautiful little place the staff can't do enough for you. The pub is traditional, beautiful, clean, and tidy, and smells exceptionally clean. We stayed in room 2. The bed was a king-size bed, the room was exceptionally clean, and the attention to detail was excellent. Even down to the little round soaps, they leave you. Not the old dry soap but a lovely soap of excellent quality. There's a kettle in the room and a good quality selection of tea, hot chocolate, and spring water. They dont do breakfast, but there are porridge and pastries for you. It's a ten minute walk down the hill to the centre where the pubs are..First time we have stayed and most definitely will be staying again. Thank you for a wonderful welcome, and our stay was absolutely beautiful.
