Very comfortable beds in our twin room. Bedroom was very clean and reasonably equipped with basic furniture. Location is great for Chorlton shops and restaurants etc.
A very friendly welcome from the staff member who showed me to my room - I arrived on a quiet Friday afternoon. Good blackout blinds on the bedroom windows (good job otherwise there would be a lot of light from outside!)
Wish we had had time to try playing shuffleboard!
My first visit to Chorlton - I thought the area was great with excellent restaurants (shout out to Baba which was amaaaazing) and cafes and general vibe. The Spread Eagle is less than a 10 min walk from the Metrolink.
The main negatives were the shower, which did not work well and was hard to operate. Very poor water flow. It desperately needs replacing with a new shower!
Also there was a leak from the toilet cistern which left a persistent puddle on the bathroom floor.
Minor point but some coat hooks on the wall as you enter the room would have been very useful.
It's shame the bathroom let the whole stay down, as the bedroom was fine.
There was a lot of noise in the evening from the pub below, but I was expecting that so that is not a negative. The karaoke was quite entertaining really.
