I am so happy I found Hotel Villa Melodie!
My room was clean, very comfortable, and cozy, with a little balcony with a sea view. The staff was amazingly sweet and made me feel like I was home. I arrived a bit stressed out, but Rita at the front desk made me feel calm, and Claudia made me a delicious cocktail to sip while I spent the day relaxing poolside. Next, I went down to the thermal pool, and after a dip, my body became so relaxed I was able to take a great nap in the shade. In addition to the pool area, a little garden overlooked the sea, and you could watch the sunset.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Ischia/Forio. You could walk to the best beach, Citara, or even walk down to Forio Centro. I was happy to know there was a parking lot with free parking.
The morning breakfast buffet included all the specialties, like sfogliatelle, pastiera, cornetti, yogurt, eggs, bacon, and toast. I ate dinner in the home a few evenings when I was too relaxed to venture out. Fresh fish, veggies, and pizza fritta were just a few of their offerings.
I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience I had. From the check-in to the cleaning staff, every staff member I encountered was delightful and eager to help! Thank you!

We stayed in this hotel 3 nights, the location is around 15 minutes walking distance to the beach, along a narrow, hilly road with some parts which had very reduced pedastrian space.
There is a very close bus stop.
The best feature of the hotel is the pool facility, very nice and pleasant. Our general agreement between guests in the pool, was that the music was too loud, with repetitive commercial songs all the time. We were looking for a relaxing and calm time (we were not in Punta Cana or Benidorm). We would appreciate more classic music or silence.
The WIFI didn't work well with very low signal.
The staff was friendly and helpful, specially the manager was very good natured and funny.
In general a good value for money.

Was an okay hotel.
Staff were pleasant but not very helpful - I requested help with airport transfers and taxis but no response despite advertised they can.
The hotel is very peaceful and the rooms are clean but everything is a bit old and tired. My aircon was broken also which isn't great in the heat.
On check out, staff double charged me despite paying in advance for the trip - was really odd
Great location if you want to explore the west side of the island, beaches, gardens etc.
