We were blown away by the view. Everyone we interacted with, from the owner (talking through the doorbell camera outside the gate), to the owner's friends who came by, to the staff who made the breakfast were incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed here for one night just to be closer to the airport since we were coming from Nosara. It was worth the slight detour rather than staying at the airport hotel. Amazing last night and morning, sitting on the balcony watching the birds, the boats, and the clouds on the horizon over the water. Just amazing. There was also a very nice restaurant about 5 minutes away at a nearby resort, which was very convenient. The one minor comment I would have is that the bathroom sink faucet and the shower head were both not great, and need to be replaced. They sprayed water in every direction when turned on higher than a trickle. But that's an easy fix. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was great every day. Loved the choices. Staff waa lovely. Rooms were very nice. Pool was great. And the views were amazing.

This place is amazing. We were sad that we only had one night here as we could have stayed for a week. The hotel is small - 6-8 rooms perched above the bay. The pool also overlooks the water and was such a treat to cool off from the heat. Mark is an excellent host and was incredibly helpful. The rooms were brilliantly laid out, modern, and comfortable. The small beach is about a 10-15 minute walk down the hill and lovely.
