Property was as described and as remembered (it was my granny’s old cottage!) . The welcome pack of goodies was a nice surprise. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated with a cozy homely feel. I especially loved the fluffy white towels provided! I was put in touch with Debbie after I booked and she was great at communicating before,during and after the stay. I booked through Hotels.com but it’s a Sykes cottage and due to this Sykes wouldn’t let me amend any details through their app which was a bit silly. Anyway, we had a great stay, cottage is very comfortable, modernised, clean and VERY well equipped (could have done with more toilet roll! ) lovely kitchen with lots of pots, pans , etc . Couldn’t get the ovens on the range cooker to work, but perhaps operator error. Two of the freezer drawers were frozen shut so only one opened. The log burning stoves were great as the weather wasn’t kind to us ! Perhaps could do with another chair in the lounge as only enough comfortable chairs for 5 people. I’ve holidayed in Cullen for last 40 odd years and I especially love staying in Seatown. The cottage is ideal for families or three couples and I hope to stay again! Overall it was a great experience and I would book this cottage again.
