About this cabin rental
Secluded spacious cabin, enveloped in trees, located at the side of the banks of the Garbh Allt (Scottish Gaelic for Rough River).
5 minute drive to the town of Broadford (Supermarket, Restaurants, Shops, and a bar or two).
As the name implies, RCC is located at the foothills of the Cuillins, Corbets.
One can walk to the other side of Skye through Strathmhor (Scottish Gaelic for Big Valley); a most wonderful walk in the footsteps of Bonnie Prince Charlie fleeing the English.
Should you wish, I can provide a cultural tour; an amble around an original Viking Settlement, with examples of Pictish foundations upon which subsequent buildings were positioned.

Eoin was the best host so far, he welcomed us personally and showed us around. The place is lovely and we felt really at home. Nice and cosy . There were a lot of books about Scotland for information what to see and do and Eoin gave us a lot of good tips as well.There was a lot of decoration, maybe a bit to much because it's not easy to clean it all and you could see that. Eoin took us to his land and we could feed the sheep and he told and showed us the settlements in his garden. That was really interesting. We had a wonderful time.

The cabin is utterly unique with each room's wall covered with art all of a kind and so quirky and wonderful. the cabin is smaller than I expected but very cozy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you'd need which is handy as you are 5 miles from the nearest restaurant or cafe and grocery store. The settee has seen better days and was not a comfortable place to read although I made do. When I was there the sheep in the one pen were worrying and calls I made to the host about what, if anything, I should do went directly to a voicemail box and were not returned which made me uneasy.. Also the window for check in was only one hour and as I was traveling by rental car from Inverness and I was a little uncertain about exact timing - I was there within the window- it created anxiety for me. But it was a very good time that I had and I'm sure others will too.

The quaintest little cabin we stayed in during our visit to Scotland. Our host, Eoin, was so informative, welcoming, interesting and helpful and gave us insights into southern Skye that we would otherwise have missed; thank you again Eion.

I loved staying here! The cabin was bigger than I expected and everything was clean and cozy. The space has all the amenities you could need for a trip! The outdoor space is very private and scenic. Despite being close to a main road, it was quiet and peaceful. Eoin is also just a lovely host with some great recommendations of hidden gems to visit. I also really appreciated the central location. I would return given the chance!
