As usual, the cottage provided all that was needed for a perfect stay. The attention to detail is outstanding. We have stayed at least 5 times and continue to uncover quiet gems that make the visit so special We will be back!

We were visiting family in a nearby city and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage. The owners thoughtfully designed this space to feel spacious and cozy all at the same time. The owners were also proactive with communication which was greatly appreciated.

As a born and raised Harvard family with our wedding planned to take place in Harvard in May, we were on the hunt to find a place to get ready the morning of our wedding for the bridesmaids. We are so glad we found and used Stone Mill Cottage. We cannot be more thankful! We were blown away by the care we were given by the owners!
We booked Stone Mill Cottage as a place to get ready on the day of our upcoming wedding. Ahead of booking we reached out to the owners to ensure that having a bridal party there would be ok. They responded right away and were more than accommodating to allow us to book for pre-wedding bridal party getting make up and hair. As our day approached, the owners reached out inferring about how many of us there would be as they wanted to do something special. We checked in Friday afternoon to set up for Saturday. We were blown away as to how gorgeous the cottage was and the grounds it was on. The cottage was spacious and modern and the perfect back drop for 'getting ready' wedding photos! The beautifulness of the cottage and outside the cottage were only the beginning. Shortly after checking in we met the owners and they were wonderful and so was Rudy (the dog)! They had a surprise for our bridal party of wedding slippers there for our bridal party and Saturday morning when all the girls arrived the owners brought over a beautiful food board!
Not only was the cottage amazing on the inside for pictures and being a space for all of us to get dressed and get our make-up down, outside was even more beautiful! Our wedding day was middle of May and the wedding cooperated wonderfully giving us a rainless, 80 degree day which accentuated the flowers, patios, grass and gardens outside of the cottage. It provided a wonderful back drop for our first look photos and some pre-wedding photos with our bridal party!
The owners were oh so welcoming allow us to traipse through the grass for perfect pictures!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cottage near Lake Geneva for a wedding we attended this past weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The cottage was spotless and provided all the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry materials we could possibly need throughout our stay.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were greeted with fresh baked welcome cookies, personalized koozies, a warm welcome letter, and a basket of fresh eggs from their chicken coop, with an invitation to gather more if we ran out. They even provided a complimentary s'mores making kit, which was a delightful touch. To make our stay even more comfortable, they rolled an extra bed into the cottage for my brother-in-law.
The location was perfect—easy to find and situated in an adorable, quiet neighborhood. It was just a short 15-minute drive to the lake, making it convenient for our wedding events.
Overall, this cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lake Geneva area and look forward to returning in the future.
