The room was basic but clean and well equipped for your needs. Lacks a bit of feeling like you’re in the actual beautiful house but it’s perfect for a nights stay! :) The breakfast was lovely. Really enjoyed all the hot and cold aspects of it!
The room could have done with a bit of character to match the house that is my only opinion however does not put me off staying again. We are already looking sr booking another night!

Room size good, beautiful building and location, lots of space and plentiful parking. En-suite bathroom was a good size, nice toiletries and powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Air con in room as well as fan provided.
The room reminded me of a prison cell - grey throughout, no curtains (blind), no pictures on the walls, industrial overhead light. No lock on the bathroom door although the door handle had the space on each side for a lock, strangely. Very much functional rather than with comfort in mind. Bed was extremely hard, pillows had stains and were very thin. Kettle was ancient, bedside table lamp so weak you couldn't read by the light. Breakfast was nothing to write home about - a couple of apples and satusumas, no pastries, very limited selection of cereal. Reception staff did not know where the nearest supermarket was or where to get an evening meal after their dinner service had finished (arrived too late for this). Communal doors through corridors were filthy although room was clean and tidy.
