The pool area with plants that is like an oasis. Friendly family running the place. It is great place to stay rather than standard hotel as we were able to interact with locals and enjoy their hospitality. . A very generous breakfast. The room which we book for 3 was comfortable was large with enough space for us (room has more then 3 beds).
This is not a negative of the property but to be aware that in Uzbekistan like in Greece, some plumbing systems are old and toilet paper cannot be flush down toilet but put in bin.

Het is echt een geweldige oase van rust. De plek is prachtig, het ontbijt is geweldig en de eigenaren doen er alles aan om het verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Voor het ontbijt maakt de eigenaresse op verzoek van tijd en rekening houdend met jouw voorkeuren alles klaar. Deze service heb ik zelf nog niet eerder zo meegemaakt, het was echt geweldig!
De hoofdstad zelf is vrij groot en het is vanuit de accommodatie heel makkelijk om goedkoop een taxi te boeken en de stad te verkennen. Al met al, raad ik het iedereen aan om hier te verblijven.

I had a wonderful time at the Green Yard Guesthouse. Loved the room; the courtyard and pool were amazing. So peaceful and nice, and exactly what I was hoping my first entrance to Uzbekistan would be. The owners are amazing people—helpful, warm-hearted, understanding, and very welcoming. I got to eat plov with them, chat with them, learn about the country from them, and was directed to all the places I wanted to go and helped to do all the things I wanted to do.
It was wonderful to come back to the guesthouse after a full day filled with tourist things and feel at home.
All was good.
