The location is good. It’s a 25 minute walk to the Colosseum, Palantine Hills and Roman forum. Buses are nearby for further away locations. The apartment is spacious.
Where do I start…? The host who lives in Milan was rude. Even after they approved a 2 pm check in, I communicated that I was on my way from the airport and they ignored me. I contacted them again that I was outside the apartment and I was made to wait for over an hour. They argued that 3 pm check-in was agreed to. Even then the property manager who the host called “the girl” was late. The floor of the apartment was filthy. The bedding was old and the bed was uncomfortable. The shower has been broken a long time according to the reviews (see photo). The kitchen has no bench space and it does not have a microwave so do not count on having a kitchen. And lastly, there are 57 stairs (9 small flights) up to the door so be prepared.
