Es gab eine Gemeinschaftsküche und zwei Gemeinschaftsbäder jeweils mit Dusche. Die Unterkunft liegt 5 Gehminuten vom Schiefen Turm von Pisa entfernt, an einer relativ ruhigen Straße.
Die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft, es wirkte alles etwas heruntergekommen, vor allem die Duschen waren in keinem guten Zustand und aus dem Abfluss kamen Haare bzw. die Bäder generell waren nicht sehr sauber. Die Gemeinschaftsküche war nicht gut ausgestattet und auch nicht wirklich sauber. Im Zimmer gab es bei 38 Grad Außentemperatur bloß einen sehr lauten, Ventilator, durch dessen Krach man nachts nicht schlafen konnte, ohne wäre es aber viel zu heiß gewesen. Die Bettwäsche war aus irgendeiner Kunstfaser und dementsprechend auch nicht wirklich gut für das heiße Wetter draußen und im Zimmer.
