The apartment is exceptional, clean, well presented with modern fittings, extremely comfortable beds -even the sofa bed was incredibly comfortable. Power shower was fab and the roof terrace was a welcome outdoor space to socialise before dinner. The location is excellent for all of central Alicante especially the port and beach. The Cava on arrival was a nice touch. I’d definitely recommend and stay here again.
Obviously being located in the Old Town where lifts aren’t going to be in every building it might not suit people who can’t deal with stairs as the apartment is up several flights of stairs. To enter the building and apartment you need to use your phone which became annoying to operate if 5G wasn’t working interest outside. It meant having to walk up and down the street on occasions to establish a connection. These were only minor nuisances however. The biggest downside was the air conditioning unit in the living room kept leaking and so had to keep it switched off which made the apartment hot and stuffy. Unfortunately as we were staying in the living area on the sofa bed it meant I didn’t get any sleep in the 3 days we were there due to the dripping noise and heat of the room. I contacted the owner on the 2nd day who instantly came to sort however unfortunately it didn’t fix the issue as it started leaking after a short time being switched on. It was the only major downside as the apartment was great.

Við áttum tvo frábæra daga í fallega málaðri íbúð, allt var í bleikum tónum og mjög hlýlegt. Við höfum sól og gott útsýni af okkar svölum en það höfðu ekki margar aðrar íbúðir í kringum okkur. Frábær staðsetning.

The apartment had everything in it suitable for our stay. the host even left a complimentary water and a bottle of cava. lovely touch.
the 3 flights of stairs was a challenge, but by the end of our trip we found ourselves getting much fitter. so it was all good.
