The property is more like a full apartment at your disposal rather than a hotel. You’ll have a kitchen, washing machine, fridge, dining table, and everything you’d typically need for a short stay.
It didn’t seem to be any regular room service during my stay, though you could probably request it if needed. Overall, it’s more of a small apartment-style rental experience than a traditional hotel.
The keys are digital and are sent to you via WhatsApp, so I actually never met the owners in person during either check-in or check-out.
They also provided a taxi driver for an extra €30, which was probably about €10 more expensive than Uber. However, the driver was very helpful in finding the apartment, which was especially useful since it might have been a little difficult to locate on my own.
The Wi-Fi stopped working during my stay, but the owners provided me with the password for a different network, so I was still able to get online. It's not a deficiency, but rather a random occurrence.
I also requested some new trash bags and a small detergent pack for the washing machine, as I didn’t want to buy a full bottle of detergent for just a week-long stay. Unfortunately, those requests went unanswered. That said, I wouldn’t consider this a deficiency, since these items were not explicitly included in the services.
I did get the impression that the people communicating with you via WhatsApp and the property owners may be different parties, and that their communication with each other isn’t particularly smooth. Overall, though, this didn’t have any significant impact on the comfort of my stay.
One small suggestion: the picture of the African lady staring intently at you gave me a few jump scares when I woke up during the night! 😄 Something a little more neutral might be preferable.
