I honestly don’t have a complaint about anything. The entire property is kept VERY CLEAN, the location is great to Governor’s Beach, and the staff is polite and helpful.
If I HAD to give one criticism, I was disappointed that Governor’s Village did not honor their word when they stated they would give me a complimentary early check-in. I made arrangements ahead of time for an early check-in, and I paid in advance for it as well. I emailed Governor’s Village in advance and explained that I would be staying at their property for my 50th birthday. I asked them if I could have a complimentary free early check-in if possible as a birthday “freebie”. I told them if they could do that, then awesome! However, if not, no problem! I’m not the type of person that feels something like that is “owed” to me. It was explained to me that if the early check-in was available, the fee that I paid would be credited back to me.
The fee was never credited back to me. Again, I’m not mad. Just disappointed. Governor’s Village clearly told me they would grant a complimentary early check-in for my milestone birthday, but no follow through. I’m a big believer in someone following through with their word. If a person or business states they are going to do something, then do it.
I do not want the money credited to me now. If you credit it to me now, it is just because I mentioned it in this review and you want to look favorable to people reading this review.
Keep the money.

everything was great , clean rooms , wonderful showers and the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. I referred to so many people here and we are now booking for october.
