The accommodation is in a perfect location for exploring and hiking in the Serra da Estrela mountain range. It is also very easy to reach from Covilhã by public transport using the Serra shuttle. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and the bus stop is right next to the house. Torre is also only about 15 minutes away by public transport, which makes the location especially convenient for exploring the mountains without a car.
João is an extremely kind and helpful host. He responded very quickly whenever I had a question and made everything simple and uncomplicated.
The house itself had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. My wife and I stayed for three days, and it was an absolute delight. The accommodation was comfortable, well equipped, and genuinely felt like home.
We would happily stay here again and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Serra da Estrela.

A casa é muito boa, próxima da paragem de autocarro que nos leva da Covilhã ao topo da serra. O espaço é muito confortável, com tudo o que é necessário para uma excelente estadia. Os anfitriões estão sempre disponíveis, são muito simpáticos e generosos!
Nada de negativo. Tudo o que pode ser melhorado não interfere com a qualidade da estadia.

Alinhamento e disponibilidade com o Anfitrião, preocupado se tínhamos chegado bem e se necessitávamos de algo, foi muito agradável e disponível. Estacionamento gratuito e disponível, acesso rápido à casa. Bem localizada em termos de acesso à Torre e restaurantes.
A limpeza do espaço. Foi de facto muito acolhedor, gostámos muito e fica de referencia para voltarmos, mas não podemos deixar de dar a nota que por exemplo a banheira tinha areia, não sabemos como, mas tivemos nós que a higienizar e dois mesmo a mesa da cozinha tinha marcas de comida, chão com alguma sujidade.
