Man lebt nicht in einem Hotel, sondern in einem Museum. Der Besitzer hat Kunstschätze aus der ganzen Welt hier her gebracht und stellt sie jedem zu Verfügung, der hier übernachtet. Weitere Museumsbesuche in der Stadt kann man sich getrost sparen, hier gibt es mehr und besseres.
Und obendrein sind auch noch Personal inklusive Manager enorm freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Leider haben wir zu spät von diesem Hotel erfahren, sonst wären wir viel langer geblieben. Hier war definitiv der Höhepunkt unserer Reise durch Java.
Dass wir nicht mehr Zeit hir verbringen konnten

The bathroom could do a bit of maintenance but it was ok.

Our first time in Yogyakarta we couldn’t have chosen a more authentic place to spend few nights, room was beyond comfortable and spotless, felt back in time with the whole history of the building. The hotel manager was far the best host to get us comfortable soon we got to the hotel and even showed us the place and told us all about the heritage that is present there, everyone speak amazing English. We where very pleased with our experience and looking forward to come back ☺️☺️
For first timers is not a easy location, the street where the entrance is, cars cannot get in but we found our way, it’s not a bad thing but just something to keep in mind when booking 😉

The ambience was terrific, with beautiful works of art everywhere. It was like staying in a museum.
The handbasins in the bathroom looked as if they needed a good clean, but apart from that, the place was quite clean. More variety for breakfast would have been good. Some information about the local area - e.g. places to see, to eat - to provide tourists would be helpful.
Replacing my bottles of water as I had used all of them, would also have been good.
