You are staying in a beautiful historical Dar in the quiet side of the medina of Tunis. Tastefully decorated, stuffed with books, and taken care of by incredible hosts. Sonia makes the most delicious homemade breakfast everyday, and Marouane and family will make sure you feel at home and provide great recomendations/explanations. Great location easy to walk around town, and not far off car accessible streets for calling a cab. Will stay there again when we return to Tunis.
We were unlucky with the heatwave. They provided us with cooling fans, but it was quite hot.

La stanza blu è bellissima, ha delle piastrelle stile arabo uniche. La struttura non è un po’ vecchia in alcuni punti ma molto pulita. La posizione dentro la Medina ottima per esplorarla e come punto di partenza x tutta la città. Unico neo e’ la mancanza dell’aria condizionata per cui la camera è molto calda anche se ci sono dei ventilatori che aiutano. Nonostante questo, il proprietario Marouane e la Sigra che ci ha servito tutte le mattine la colazione, sono così gentili e disponibili, che comunque consigliamo questa soluzione anche d’estate. Inoltre la colazione è fatta completamente in casa e buonissima…con dolci, uova servite in vari modi, succhi freschi e soprattutto creme home made molto particolari come quella al sesamo, alla nocciola e alla vaniglia…assolutamente consigliata.

The owner and staff very very nice and friendly. We had a very good welcoming. There was a good access to the old town and Bazaar. And the owner guided us a lot about everything there.
The place was not clean enough. There was a lot of dust in room, and around the bed. Of course, there was some renovation going on and the corridor was plastered, but what was in the room was dust, not plaster!
And I had a feeling that the bathroom is not clean enough as well. I'm sorry to say this, but I saw a cockroach in the bathroom in the last day!
One thing that made me feel uncomfortable was that the room didn’t have a lock or a key for the room and when I was going outside, or when I was resting at room (of course it was safe and nothing happened!)
