Fantastic location on the edge of the Medina on Place du France. Overlooking Porte du France.
Beautiful hand painted and wooden doors and ceilings. Full of character. Good varied breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Air conditioning insufficient.
WiFi poor connection.
Bathrooms a bit tired.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Royal Victoria Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting downtown Tunis. The location is perfect—right next to the entrance of the Medina and within walking distance of all the main sights.
The hotel is full of charm, with beautiful historic architecture, spotless rooms, and excellent value for money.
The staff truly made the experience. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, from the lovely woman at breakfast to the reception team and cleaning staff.

Location is great.
Air-con was not working and smelled. Had to sleep with windows open in very hot weather.
