The location of this house is top tier! It overlooks the beautiful cloud forest and is close to the town. The fact that it had a twin and a set of bunk beds in one room and a queen in the other room was perfect for our family of 5. The hosts were very accommodating and super helpful!
We would definitely stay here again and don’t have any complaints, but just to give an honest review, the living room is very small but we made it work. There is no hot tub as shown in the pics which was no big deal for us because we wouldn’t have used it anyway. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean and the hosts brought us 2 fans which we appreciated.

Great accomodation, well equipped and clean, comfortable and had all of the facilities that we needed to cook. Even had a TV with Netflix which was great.
The host was excellent- her family did our laundry for a cost, and we even bumped into her whilst leaving the accommodation and she gave us a lift in the right direction! Very quick to respond to queries and so kind, welcoming and helpful.
And, most importantly, the views!! The patio area is the perfect place to watch the sunset. This made our stay in Monteverde better.
We loved this accomodation and would definitely stay here again!
No AC, but we were provided with a fan, which was fine.
A bit of a walk into the downtown centre Elena (10-15 mins to get to the large supermarket, restaurants, cafes) which is quite hilly on the way there. We didn’t have a car and had no issues walking, but it might be a bit difficult if you’re not happy walking a bit and don’t have a car. In our opinion, it was well worth the walk to get a little further out and have the gorgeous views that we did here!!
