We loved the location, cleanliness, and amenities provided by the host, Ana. We arrived early and meet with a lovely woman, Rita, who was finishing cleaning the apartment. She gave us a thorough walk through of the apartment and showed us how to use the appliances (fancy coffee maker that was incredible, washer/dryer, and the proper keys to access the apartment). The towels and linens on the bed were very clean and looked new. Also, dark towels for the beaches and thermal springs were provided. Communication with both Ana and Rita was very easy and responsive.
The location was a great central place to easily get around the island by car. Parking in the garage under the apartment building was a huge bonus. There is a bike path across the street along the beach/ocean that we really enjoyed running on in the mornings. This felt safe and many runners and walkers were on it. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. All the views from each room of the apartment looked out at the ocean.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location and the apartment were perfect. The view of the ocean and the sound of the waves were simply amazing. The apartment had everything we needed. A special thank you to Madalena for her warm hospitality.
Some guests might find the occasional evening noise from the bars and parking area downstairs inconvenient, but the location is what it is – it didn’t bother us at all.
