The location was good. Could walk to cafes, shops, restaurants. The place was clean, and comfortable with AC. Space was great with a separate living area and kitchen.
While location is great, it is up a hill that could be difficult for some guests to walk.
I didn’t have hot water for most of my showers. Didn’t mind as most days were hot, but could be an issue for other guests. Also, just found a few things that were missing from the kitchen. There was no toaster/toaster oven, lacking a couple cooking utensils, such as a flipper. There is a washing machine, but no dryer and nowhere outside to hang clothes to dry. It took a few days to dry some clothes inside on the drying rack due to the humidity. I have stayed in another AL that had a dual washer/dryer and it was great! Especially when there isn’t a patio or outdoor space.

We had a great stay with Aligus 1 it's super cozy and was perfect for me and my husband.
Its in a great central area of Horta, within walking distance to the avienda and all shopping, perfect if you're wanting to attend Seman do Mar. Besides the cleaning aspect we had a great time and would recommend Aligus 1.

We did notice a strong mildew smell upon arriving. And it seemed the apartment had not been cleaned upon us arriving. I did contact the property owner and requested for someone to come by and do a full cleaning and also change the bedsheets. Someone did come by however cleanup was minimal. In my opinion cleaning upon renters arrival and airing out of the apartment needs to be worked on.

The property was clean. The bathroom was very good. The bed was firm but otherwise comfortable.
It was within walking distance of the ferry terminal and the downtown waterfront.
There was no window. There was translucent glass in the entry door which was the only and limited source of daylight.
There was a nice looking laundry machine that I was looking forward to using but there was no dryer or drying rack. Laundry detergent was supplied the day after I arrived.
