Great location, only a short walk away from shops and pubs and short drive away from Lake Windermere and plenty hiking spots.
The accommodation is well equipped, spacious and very clean. You can feel home away home.
We really loved the photos from Lake District displayed in the house.
We find the size of the garden a bit small, because we were travelling with dogs. So a bigger garden with grass would be more ideal, but it was not an issue.

Clean and comfortable. Well equipped and furnished. Great village location.
Top of a steep hill, challenging walk uphill for older residents. Property on three floors. Good street parking.

Heatherlea was a great base in Grange over Sands, we had a really enjoyable time there. The house is clean, comfortable and well-equipped (though could do with an extra chopping board and sharp veg knife). There's a view of Morecambe bay from the top windows of the house. We had a lovely walk up nearby Hampsfell and the promenade in Grange with the beautifully tended gardens and parks is a delight. There's some good tea shops, we'd also recommend Fish over Chips, fish & chip shop, and Akhi Indian restaurant.
