Getting Around:
If staying in Manzanita, there is no need for a car but if wanting to travel outside of Manzanita, we do have a public bus called "The Wave" which can take you North or South. There is info on The Wave in our rental or you can find a schedule in our office in Manzanita.

The Sandslot is fantastic. Such a comfortable home, bright and clean with one of the best equipped kitchens that we've ever stayed in. The deck was perfect for lazy afternoon drinks and sunset watching and the gas fire in the lounge created a perfect relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms and showers were spacious and bright. Being outside of town, the location is also perfect for tranquility, only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and a few minutes farther to Nehalem Bay State Park which has some lovely walking trails with views of Nehalem Bay. The shops and eateries of Manzanita are roughly a mile away but this was very pleasantly walkable or easily drivable. Manzanita Beach Getaway's staff, Vicki V in particular, were helpful, speedy and courteous at every step of the rental process from booking the property, through checking in/out, answering questions while we were there and even locating and returning a left behind item once we had left. We highly recommend this property and Manzanita Beach Getaways and will definitely book with them in the future.
