I had a wonderful stay in Zhangjiajie! The location was absolutely perfect, offering a clear and stunning view of Tianmen Mountain. The room itself was beautiful, well-appointed, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
The location was not only quiet and peaceful, overlooking a beautiful landscape, but also very convenient. It was just a short distance from the Tianmen Mountain cable car, making it easy to explore the area. The airport and train station were also easily accessible, which made travelling to and from the property very simple. It’s the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience.
Our hosts, David and his wife, were exceptionally kind and generous. They made us feel truly welcome from the start and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even shared their Autumn Festival celebration with us, prepared a lovely breakfast, and thoughtfully arranged a taxi for our departure. Their home was beautiful, and their warm hospitality made the entire stay incredibly pleasant, leaving us with wonderful and lasting memories.

La camera era bellissima, nuova e i due proprietari super accoglienti e carinissimi. Ci hanno accolto come ospiti a casa loro e ci hanno coccolato in tutto e per tutto. Abbiamo prenotato il ritiro in areoporto e sono venuti a prenderci. La colazione era buonissima, preparata dalla padrona di casa.
È stato tutto perfetto.

We spent a night in 张家界东篱山居民宿. I chose the place partly because it was close to the Zhangjiajie airport but mainly because of its view. We arrived late (almost midnight), the host picked us up from the airport (for free), we didn’t see much outside the house in the darkness, but were taken by the artistic decoration of the rooms. Next day, we were lucky to wake to a clear morning and greeted by a stunning view of the Tianmen Mountains (天门山) and Seven Stars Mountains （七星山）. The Tianme Cave (天门洞) is clearly visible from the house. The view is even better than I expected from the Booking.com’s reviews. Besides its hilltop location with excellent views all around and including a golf course right next door, the house also has a manicured garden including a lotus pond, clearly the owner has put in a lot of effort landscaping and maintaining the property. I only wished that we had more time to stay here and just enjoy its view and surroundings.
Not much except the air conditioning in one of the room had low capacity

La struttura è gestita dal proprietario e ti assegna una bella camera della sua casa. La stanza è molto grande, ha un grande bagno privato ed ha pure una loggia con veranda ad uso esclusivo.
La posizione è il punto debole della struttura, è vero che si trova vicino all'aeroporto ma su una strada secondaria molto ripida. Gli autisti Didi hanno difficoltà a trovare la struttura e comunque ti accompagnano sbuffando non poco. Intorno alla struttura e per km non ci sono ristoranti o comunque supermercati in cui procurarsi del cibo, bisogna pensarci in città prima di rientrare e non sempre con i ritmi serrati che si hanno in vacanza ci si riesce.
