Terrenkur boutique-hotel

We like the location. You can go out and you can walk on the health path with restaurants along the way. When you head down you can get to Kok tobe station. There's also a park with children's playground and some cafe's and restaurants. The room is spacious and clean. The room given to us was on the ground so when you look out of the window your view is the children's playground. Good thing school had started when we were there so it was quiet. Breakfast is not a buffet. There's a set menu. Eggs, 1 sausage and little salad on the side and some bread and butter. You can ask for tea or coffee. We ordered seabuckthorn tea on our 1st day and although it was not included in the selection, they were kind enough to provide it but we are told only for that day. There's a built in wardrobe and so there's a lot of space and it's easy to organize things. The robes provided were pressed and thats a plus. Jana, the receptionist at the time we checked out helped us to book a taxi that will allow to take our 3 luggage in the car. We appreciated that as it was challenging to have the language barrier. They just tell you No! and leave you with additional charges for booking the taxi.

We had to take separate taxis going to the hotel because we had 3 luggage. My husband's taxi was able to go in and he was dropped infront of the hotel while I on the other hand with 2 luggage on hand and a backpack was dropped near the security guard's post and I had to walk 5 min. to get to the hotel entrance. It's a bit of an inconvenience. I don't why all taxis are not allowed to go in. Maybe it depends on the security guard's mood. We called to ask if we can check in early and they said yes but when we came close to the check in time because of the taxi situation and traffic, they haven't finish cleaning the room. We didn't wait for a long time but I felt that the cleaning was rushed, the room didn't have time to breathe. Some trash was not taken out from the bedside drawer. I slept on left side of the bed and it already have signs of sagging so maybe it's time to change it. We requested to check out at 1pm on our last day as our flight is at 6pm, initially the receptionist said yes but then after some time she knocked and told us they cannot accomodate the request because there are guest checking in after us. Though we're a bit disappointed they let us leave our luggage on the side of the reception area.

Nice place and atmosphere good breathing and polite staff.centre of the city near to the Dostyk mall.

The breakfast was very simple and felt a bit lacking, but it was clean and delicious.

The wall between the adjacent rooms is made of wooden panels that are not soundproof, so you can clearly hear not only the TV but also the conversations of the people in the next room.
