le cadre sympathique, chambre confortable et jolie
manque présence des hôtes à l'accueil et au petit déjeuner. La climatisation n'a pas fonctionnée la nuit.

This is a great, if quirky find, excellent value and perfect for a few days in a stunning area. The chateau sits on a hill with wonderful views and a tree-filled garden, only 2kms from the Loire. The owner Stephane is a sculptor and really delightful host, trying very hard to make an old house work in the 21st century.
The main chateau is a co-working, art exhibition and events space - guests stay in the old coach house 20m away, which has been recently totally refurbished with aircon throughout.
The chateau hosts all sorts of outdoor events including live music, film and dance (mainly on the weekends) and guests would be right in the thick of them as most of the rooms look onto the stage. So check with the Chateau d'Art website.
The rooms offer lots of different bed variations, most have their own bathrooms, but the two top rooms (on different floors) have their loo and shower rooms on a lower floor - we stayed in these two rooms so were sharing only with our family.
There's a shared, well-equipped kitchen and with private outdoor space and a hot tub was being installed while we were there.
If you're happy to share some space with other travellers, the chateau is a delightful stay; if you wanted a place to book out for a large party it would be amazing.
If you go, don't miss out on a meal at the incredible, busy, wonderfully French and slightly bonkers restaurant La Guinguette à Jojo, right on the banks of La Loire.
The top room is two flights from the loo and bathroom.

Vad lite svårt att hitta och vart man skulle gå in eftersom det inte fanns någon reception. Tråkig trädgårt att kunna vistas i men väldigt positivt med AC på rummet. Trevligt bemötande men kunde väldigt lite engelska. Vi hittade en bra resturang i närheten som var bra.
Vi hade önskat än bättre/mysigar trädgård.
