Breakfast was totally delicious, we enjoyed it very much. It was delightful to eat outside by the pool.
The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It was nice to have a private balcony to watch the birds in the morning (though in our case we were the only guests at the house, so everything was private!).
We used the pool only a little bit, but it was clean and comfortable to use.
Paul, the host, was very kind and helped us a ton to arrange a boat tour in Poovar (at an excellent price) and to secure transport by autorickshaw to go spend time on the beach at Kovalam.
Our first night we were awoken by neighboring dogs barking a couple of times--I think this is inevitable in rural areas like Poovar, but good to be aware. The second night we didn't hear a thing and slept very well.

Firstly the property just won my heart. Its bful and is situated on a damn bful small hill. The pool was good and clean. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. You will get a kitchen with all the amenities so if u want you can cook anything. poovar is a remote area so dont expect big markets nearby. The owner Mr poulose sir takes care of everything and is just one call away to help you with anything by going out of the way. He arranged lovely local breakfast at the time of checkout. He owns his boat and the boating area is just 100 metres away from the property. very nice place for family and kids. it can uphold 20 to 25 guests also . i will recommend this property to every1.

The staff is really good. He was hospitable, and very good host. The location was superb.
The place had lizards, had a wierd smell, it needs to get a deep cleaning and also it can be kept clean and neat.
