Not what you'd expect from the outside, but a great, peaceful place to relax and escape from the city. I was very comfortable and happy to stay there.
The apartment is self contained with just about everything you need for a weekend away.
The host was wonderful and made me feel very welcome, and also gave me some local knowledge on places in the area to visit and where to eat.
Overall I was extremely happy, but the bedroom was missing a curtain so the morning sun woke me up early. The apartment is getting a face lift bit by bit, so my suggestion to the Host in the meantime would be to maybe use one of the curtains from the hallway instead ?
I also noted that there doesn't seem to be A/C, so I'd personally be hesitant to stay during summer, but there is a ceiling fan in main area.
Also, just for people to be aware of, the apartment is up a flight of stairs.
This is just nit-picking, as I 100% would (and no doubt will) be happy stay here again and again!
