Great place let down by a petty owner and unreasonable.
Good location, clean, easy to find, spacious, good parking.
Bottle of wine given (which seemed to have soured but that's by the by), however only 6 coffee pods for the machine, and a 350ml carton of uht milk (for a booking for 5 adults for 3 nights). Besides that only very basic things like oil and salt and pepper etc were provided, a little bit disappointing considering how expensive the place is. Many cheaper places give basic breakfast items like eggs, bacon, proper milk, maybe even juice and fruit.
What really caused me to leave this negative review though is that when I was showering upstairs I used the ceramic tile wall step installed to make washing your leg easier. I had used the one downstairs the night before no problem at all. Unfortunately though this time I was unlucky enough that the fixture decided to give up the ghost and fail on me when I had my foot up on it washing my leg. Luckily I didn't slip and fall when it failed, even though I was obviously only standing on one leg, as I also had one hand up on the wall so still had 2 points of contact when it snapped and fell.
I immediately messaged the owner to inform them and sent them a photo of what had happened. After checking out they contacted me to say that the plumber they employed to assess the fixture has told them that there was no pre-existing damage and that the failure was caused by either an impact or excessive force, and that it will cost over $650 to repair! They said they will be keeping my security deposit and claiming the remainder of the costs from me too! How on earth a plumber can tell whether a ceramic fixture had pre-existing damage or not AFTER it has been broken is a secret I guess only know to that plumber. Much like how he knows that a piece of ceramic that is at LEAST 17 years old (as evidenced by photos from the last sale of the property on realestate.com) couldn't possibly have simply failed during normal use due to material fatigue and/or normsl wear and tear.

All round excellent accommodation
Very roomy and beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were great, location was exceptional and felt safe. Instructions were clear.
