About this house rental
Originally built in the 1970's, It has been renovated and updated to offer contemporary living spaces and amenities while retaining the charm and rustic coziness of a Northwoods chalet. URSA MINOR is cozy two bedroom, one bathroom suite offering a full kitchen, and comfy living space with a wood burning fireplace. The main bedroom offers a queen size bed with high quality linens, blankets and towels (two). Our second bedroom sleeps up to three in a bunk bed featuring a double bed mattress under a single bed. Dishes and silverware for four place settings, pots, pans and cutlery are available in the kitchen for guests cooking and dinning needs along with an ample refrigerator/freezer and electric range. A charcoal grill is also available for outdoor cooking. Relax outside in our wood fired barrel sauna and hot tub (both fit four people). PLEASE NOTE: There is NO MICROWAVE and NO LAUNDRY MACHINES on premises. This is a duplex chalet, so there is a possibility that there will be guests in the upstairs unit during your stay.

The cabin was very cozy and very tastefully decorated. There were plenty of little thoughtful touches throughout. The jacuzzi and wood-fire sauna were great. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. The kitchen is well-equipped and downtown Iron Falls is 15 minutes away with a grocery store and other essentials. The surrounding area is very peaceful and removed. Perfect for a cozy weekend getaway.

Had a great couples trip to the UP! Very clean accommodations, comfy beds, and lots to do. LOVED the hot tub/sauna/supply of firewood. Would stay again any day! My only recommendation is that access to a microwave would be nice. Thanks for creating such a thoughtful space!

It is a very cute, clean, and well kept cottage. There's a unit above as well that can connect. We definitely want to come back with friends! The sauna and hot tub were also very clean. Our stay was comfortable, even though there was no fans or air conditioning, it being half underground kept it pretty cool even with it being 80 degrees outside.
