It was very spacious and well equipped, and only a couple of minutes walk from the Colosseum. You can see into the Colosseum from the roof terrace!
The stairs, but only saying that after walking 25,000 steps around Rome!

Great location as a starting point. Colosseum is just 5min or less away (walking).
Lots of restaurants around.
Apartment itself it's big, and pretty ok for a couple of nights.
It's a self-checkin, so keys will be on site. There's a lift for luggage or one person (italian style, quite small). Else go upstairs to the 4th floor.
Communication with the host worked well.
Like mentioned before, it's a self-checkin. Meaning you need to register online. The host uses Vikey(dot)it for this. The process is straightforward.
Vikey in turn uses Persona Identities for the ID verification (photo and video selfie). This is a US-based company.
And I really dislike giving personal documentation to an US company.
I'd prefer if the host provided the option to this in person or use another service which is completely EU-based and only GDPR compliant.

Amazing location, spacious and clean. 2 mins to Colosseo. Lots of restaurants close by. Easy to pick up taxis.
Water in bathroom temperamental.

Struttura che quando entri ti vengono i brividi nell arco c e disegnato un mostro che dalle foto della camera non lo fanno vedere, nelle finestre nessuna tenda il sole ti sveglia alle 6 del mattino, come soprammobili hanno IT e un altro pagliaccio spaventoso, l acqua puzza, insomma non ci siamo trovati per niente bene..
