Location is excellent. Five min walk to New Cross Gate station. Safe area. Appreciated that the host left us waters, some snacks, and plenty of towels. Also really appreciated letting us drop off our luggage early. It was a huge help and allowed us to make the most of our first day.
The shower controls are so confusing. It seemed as if the shower function was not working and only the tub faucet worked, but then by fiddling with it in an unmemorable series of movements in an effort to turn it off, it worked but then it wouldn't turn it off. Would be really helpful if you had some sort of instruction on how to divert the water to the shower head. All of the handles are loose and feel like they'll break, so it was worrisome to keep fiddling with it.
Also, this was the first holiday rental I've ever stayed in that didn't have at least one day of tea and coffee available. There is a kettle and french press, but given that we were only there for 2 nights, we didn't make plans to buy tea bags or coffee.

All three rooms were a decent size, great we had a full size fridge freezer. Windows opened nice and wide for when it was hot and the road was quiet which is great for London. Host was attentive
As soon as you walk in there is a very strong smell.. not too sure what of but it absolutely STANK! But once you were in the apartment you couldn’t smell it, only in the entrance and on the stairs
